An audiobook, a workshop, and slack – oh my!
I’ve got a few updates for you, my fellow ruckus makers in tech.
First, I’m excited to announce a 100% complete revamp of Software Leader Seminar into a hands-on, on-line workshop. No videos, no forums, no BS.
This is unlike anything I’ve seen or done and is similar to my in-person workshops.
It’s five weeks long, with one session per week, and only 30 seats available. If you want to be a better tech leader in 2020, this is for you.
Check it out here: https://marcusblankenship.com/software-leader-seminar-2019/
Second, I just secured the audiobook rights for my friend Jerry Weinberg’s classic book, Becoming a Technical Leader. It will be out this fall, and I’ll keep you posted. I’ll be creating and publishing other audiobooks in the coming months, but I’m excited to start with this one. If you have a favorite book, and there’s not an audiobook version, please write me back and tell me. I’m looking to connect with publishers to secure the rights for titles that need to be revived for the next generation.
Third, if you’d like to hang out in my slack room, I’d love to see you there. Just write me a note (or hit REPLY), and I’ll send you an invite.
Okay, let’s recap.

Oh, right – I’ve got some great guests coming up on the podcast in the coming weeks: Camille Fournier, Esther Derby, Johanna Rothman, Jason Wong, Tim Ottinger, April Wensel, and Ellen Gottesdiener. Stay tuned!
Finally, the first two chapters of the book are done, and I’m well into chapter 3. Progress is slow, but I like where it’s going. I’ll be looking for advance readers soon – let me know if you’re interested.
Don’t forget the upcoming workshop – I’m really excited to see you there. 🙂
Best,
Marcus
