Get my email lessons on how you can build a tech team you can depend on.

Is teamwork like pulling teeth?

Next month I’m holding a 2.5-day live workshop in Medford, Oregon which I think you’d find useful.

It teaches you how to work better with your team.

And it teaches your team how to work better together.

Wait, I know – “improving teamwork” sounds about as much fun as “improving root canals.”

Most of us would rather avoid the topic altogether.

That’s because programmers often aren’t skilled in working together.

We’re wired to work alone, just us and the IDE.

That’s where I started… and I preferred to stay.

Oh sure, there’s about one hour of slides and lecture across the 2.5 days. But only one.

The rest is hands-on engineering exercises learning to apply and hone the concepts.

We build with Tinkertoys, IBM punchcards, and other engineering-ish toys to provide an environment where we can learn and play. (The two are intertwined, don’t ya know?)

The Moment

There’s an “Ah ha!” moment that always happens in the workshops.

It’s when you get a flash of realization about how you impact your team… and how they impact you.

And when they get this epiphany, both for good and bad, we help them see new possibilities of working that they’d never thought of.

I suggest you grab a few members of your team and join us.

It will be worth the time and money – guaranteed.
